She works closely with ACSI (Association of Christian Schools International) in Nigeria and across West Africa. She believes the key to transformation of a nation begins with its education system.

Sheila is a teacher by training, having graduated from Redeemer University in Ancaster, Canada with degrees in Education, French and Missions.
Her 11 years of teaching experience include teaching in Christian schools in Canada, as well as Hillcrest School Jos and the American International School of Abuja.
She is deeply passionate about children and walking with teachers as they explore what it means to be an effective teacher.
Since 2008, she has been serving as an Education Consultant with Christian Reformed World Missions, where she does teacher training, curriculum development, dialoguing with schools across West Africa, mentoring and encouraging key leaders/administrators, and participating in African and worldwide discussions on Education.
