OVERVIEW

The Advanced Teacher Training (ATT) Programme is a one-week intensive certificate course designed for School owners, Head Teachers and Teachers who are interested in becoming more knowledgeable, skilled and confident in the use of 21st century Teaching Methodologies, Classroom Management Strategies and General School Management.

The ATT is a Meadow Hall immersion training programme has been designed to build on the foundations of teaching theory, methodology and practical classroom application. It is poised to improve teachers’ skills in their current working context, deepen their knowledge and develop the ability to reflect on and improve learning.

The course combines training modules, team learning, PowerPoint presentations, group discussions and case studies. This program will be complemented with a 15-hour observational and guided team-teaching practicum at Meadow Hall School. During this training, participants also get to meet Meadow Hall Senior Leadership Team members, a group of education experts with over 15 years classroom experience in the teaching of British and Nigerian curricula, and ask them various questions.

At the end of the programme, the participants can expect to use the knowledge acquired to raise achievement levels of their students and bring overall school improvement.
